Hace casi un año que surgió la idea de El Mensaje, en las calles de Cusco, cuando las piedras parecían hablarme del agua y el tiempo, hace casi un año que emprendí esta búsqueda guiada por la certeza de la intuición. Debe haber algo más me decía, algo diferente a lo que conocemos, algo que nos aleje de nuestros egos para construir y crear conexiones y para crearlas había que intentar descifrar lo que nos mueve a vivir, lo que tenemos, lo que nos falta, nuestra naturaleza humana y nuestra necesidad de evolucionar. El mensaje invita a recordar y a estar en el presente con la certeza de un paso a la vez. He encontrado lo importante lo básico. Me doy cuenta que en mi mente el tiempo no importa y que la construcción de la salud espiritual radica en compartir y comunicar, darnos cuenta que somos uno con la naturaleza y el universo . Mis compañeros en este viaje, mi hija y 10 artistas más con los que distintos niveles hemos ido enfrentando el reto, al comienzo muy abstracto y poco a poco más concreto. Al final creo que cada uno tiene un pedazo del rompecabezas y juntos lo armamos uniendo los títulos de nuestros trabajos.

The installation was visited by people of different ages who wrote their letters to be burnt.

All the letters that were written during the show at SOMarts were burnt at Ocean Beach in San Francisco California on November 9th 2008. Hope everyone is feeling some relief now. It was a beautiful night with moon light,lots of wind and magic.

Aim at the heart is a video target installation that encourage people to aim three darts to the moving hearts as a metaphor of human relationships. It was showed at The MAPP (Mission Arts &Performance Project) on february 9th and the first version of this video installation was shown in 2003 at The Mission Cultural Center.

camina por las calles deshabitadas de la ciudad
recoge la memoria
de los hombres que duermen en el suelo
de los amantes que derramaron sus besos
del violento ataque de la noche anterior
la luz del corazón
siembra flores en la arena
y cielos en las paredes grises
y sol en el dia más triste
reconstruye la memoria
en forma de pájaros
o ardillas
Ella extiende sus brazos
como gran madre que limpia la mugre del alma
nos saca una sonrisa
una canción
o un poema
comida tibia
que disuelve el sabor amargo de las guerras
calor de hogar
señal inequívoca de vida
que nos arrulla en los sueños.

walks on the empty streets of the city
picks the memory
of men who sleep on the pavement,
of lovers that spilled their kisses,
of the last night violent attack.

The light of the heart
grows flowers on the sand
and skies on gray walls
and sun on the saddest day
it rebuilds the memory
in the shape of birds
or squirrels
it spread its arms
cleaning the dirt of the soul, as a great mother,
it pulls out a smile
a song
a poem
warm food
that dissolves the bitter flavor of wars
hearth
unequivocal signal of life
that lulls us on dreams.

TRUST TO PLAY, if you see something say something, que se exhibió
en el Mission Cultural Center de San Francisco, USA.
En un cuarto negro entraba solo una persona, se ponía una bata blanca y se sentaba frente a un espejo conectándose los audífonos y pasaba 6 minutos mirando cómo el video transformaba su cuerpo para luego escribir en un cuaderno lo que había experimentado.
